At the Open Port of Incheon, visitors can hear interesting stories about the modern history of Korea and explore cultural remains. They can then enjoy the beautiful sunset of Wolmisan Mountain as well as exciting cultural performances.
Designed as a one-day tour course, "Wolmi Dalbit Nuri" welcomes families visiting from overseas as well as foreign residents of the metropolitan area who wish to learn about Incheon during their children's school-free Saturdays. In the daytime, participants will be accompanied by culture heritage interpreters on a field trip of areas around the Open Port and Chinatown and see cultural remains of modern Korean history. After dinner, they will move to the outdoor stage on the cultural street of Wolmido in time for sunset and performances by the artists of Incheon. Participants will then climb up Wolmisan Mountain, holding traditional Korean lanterns with red-and-blue silk shade in their hands, and enjoy the night view of Incheon Port. While walking under the moonlight, they will also have time for meditation and wish-making.
